1. Measure your project
Choose the folder of your WinDev, WinDev Mobile or WebDev project (the one holding the
.wdp or .wwp file). The page counts windows, pages, reports, queries
and tables from file names and from the analysis. It reads no code and
sends nothing: everything stays on your computer.
Depending on your browser, a message may mention "uploading" files. Nothing leaves your computer: a developer can check it in the Network tab of the developer tools.
Drag your project folder onto this area.

2. Complete
Measured figures are copied here. You can also enter them from memory; correct anything that looks wrong.
No analysis found in this project: it may use web services or an external database. Enter the number of tables if you know it.
3. Your estimate
Size class of your project:
Measured size: . The state of the code makes scoping one or two classes heavier.
No separate study: at this size, scoping is included in the migration, quoted directly after a conversation.
Scoping study (milestone J0): €3,900 excl. VAT, fixed price, 1 to 2 weeks from receipt of the material.
Scoping study (milestone J0): €7,800 excl. VAT, fixed price, 2 to 4 weeks from receipt of the material.
Scoping study (milestone J0): €12,000 excl. VAT, fixed price, 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of the material.
Scoping study (milestone J0): on quotation, from €20,000 excl. VAT, 6 weeks or more.
Classes: S up to 20 screens or 20 tables, M up to 50 or 30, L up to 150 or 100, XL up to 400 or 250, XXL beyond.
The milestone-based migration plan
Each milestone has an exit criterion you check yourself, and is decided separately from the next. Your current application keeps running until the last one. Acceptance testing is part of every milestone: we write the scenarios and the tests, your users play them on their own data.
| Milestone | What you get | What makes it bigger for you |
|---|---|---|
| J0. Scoping | Measured inventory, business rules recorded, written scope, fixed price for each milestone, list of defects of the existing application fixed along the way | Size and state of the code |
| J1. Foundation | The new application in your browser: sign-in, roles and rights, backup, log, your visual identity, and a first complete function | Deployment mode, regulatory obligations |
| J2. Reference data and data transfer | Your reference data transferred, with the count: same records, same totals, discrepancies listed | Number of tables, volume and age of data |
| J3. Business flows | What is created every day (orders, documents, files), in the order of your priorities | Number of screens and queries, links with Windows and hardware |
| J4. Outputs | Printouts, dashboards, exports | Number of reports, languages |
| J5. Periphery | Exchanges with accounting, the bank, your partners | Web services, file exchanges, e-invoicing |
| J6. Switchover | Parallel running, then shutdown of the old application, with a tested rollback | Number of sites, desired parallel period |
Durations and prices for J1 to J6 are set by scoping, on your measured application. You can stop after any milestone and keep what has been delivered.
To include in scoping
Recommended follow-up
Watch: 4 hours of advice per month after switchover, with a guaranteed response time.
Support: 10 hours of advice per month during the migration (decisions, review of deliveries, milestone validation), with a guaranteed response time.
Reinforced: 20 hours of advice per month during critical phases (data transfer, switchover), with a guaranteed response time.
Monthly package or days on demand, as you prefer. Unused hours are not carried over.
Indicative estimate, not contractual. Nothing you entered or measured has left your browser.
